Focusing on the transition period between youth leaving formal education and becoming established in the field of creative work, the Young People Making a Living in the Creative Industries project will assess the incomes streams and revenues of youth creative workers. Young people are increasingly drawn to creative work or choose to become cultural entrepreneurs, but this field is often characterized by precarious labour conditions and low pay. The main project goals are to:

1) identify and evaluate the economic channels youth employ to make a living from creative work;

2) assess the non-economic channels and unwaged nature of this work
